Darren Paffey MP is campaigning for better buses in Southampton Itchen.

Under the previous Tory Government, Southampton’s Council-funded bus miles reduced from 840,000 to just 20,000 miles between 2010 and 2023 due to cuts from the Government and dissatisfaction has increased to 48%. Local communities in Southampton were left powerless, and isolated.

The Labour Government has given Southampton a record £4.6 million in funding to improve our local bus services. From more bus routes, to protecting and improving existing routes, to improving on board services and measures to improve reliability.

This money has already delivered the new 19a bus route & £1 Evening Bus Fare!

As your MP I want to make sure we use this money to the benefit of you and our city. Ensuring everyone has access to leisure and services, especially to the hospital and town centres. That’s why I want to hear what you want the extra money being spent on so I can inform Blue Star and the Council.

Tell me how you want spend £4.6 million to improve buses in Southampton:
