Darren having coffee with constituents
Darren having coffee with constituents

I’ve always said that I want to be an accessible Member of Parliament and find different opportunities to meet with my constituents.

I already run regular in-person surgeries at community locations such as libraries– and now I’m excited to go a step further and launch my series of community coffee mornings, where you can meet me and other local organisations for informal discussions on the issues that you’ve told me are important.

The first of my coffee mornings will take place in a central Southampton venue from 10 to 11.30am on Saturday 8 March. It’s open to all constituents (advance booking essential) and will focus on Community Safety and Antisocial Behaviour as many of you have contacted me about this.

I’ll be joined by the three councillors from the Banister and Polygon ward and Cllr Christie Lambert, Southampton City Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Safety.

It’s completely free but you’ll need to book in advance. Please book your free place online and I will be in touch to confirm the central Southampton venue nearer the time.
